DAO Votes on KDU Conversion Rate Adjustment

The Kard Council reviewed a proposal to adjust the KDU-to-DIAN reference rate used across the marketplace. Here's what was proposed, and how the vote played out.

The proposal

A proposal moved through governance to adjust the reference conversion rate used when marketplace listings display KDU and DIAN prices side by side. The proposal did not touch either token's supply mechanics — DIAN's 5B hard cap and KDU's 500M hard cap remain untouched by any vote, by design.

How it was decided

Voting power blended the usual three sources — 60% stake, 25% reputation, 15% land representation — capped at 5% per address, including the team's. The proposal cleared quorum within the standard voting window.

What happens next

The new reference rate is now live across marketplace listings. As always, the underlying token contracts and the vote itself are on-chain and publicly verifiable.
